Voting Question: Is there a legitimate charity to which I could donate my cell phone?
I don’t want to donate to a cell phone recycling program, but to an actual charity that needs the phone. I’ve got a couple that were only used one or two months and are in perfect working order. I want to see them put to good use, but not recycled and destroyed.
Any ideas? Contact info would be great as well. Thank you!
Voting Question: Changing ID on Recycled Cell Phone Number?
I recently got a new cell phone for college. The problem is that the number formerly belonged to a David Griego. When I call someone his name appears on the Caller ID, and I keep getting calls from people wanting to speak to Mr. Griego, and don’t believe me when I say that he no longer uses this phone number. This is eating up my minutes, and I want to know if there is any way to change the Caller ID and get these callers to leave me alone!
Suggestions on going about this?

Frank Thanks everyone! We are attempting to collect 250k cell phones. In 2008 133 million cell phones were displaced in the US… how many went into the land fill? Probably most of them! We will recycle/repurpose them properly. ZERO landfill policy… audited and certified!! AND, 10% of the proeeds will go to Cancer and Autism. Send ‘em on in or if you’re local… I’d be happy to pick them up and buy you a cup of coffee!!
